Trip to Larrys

 I just got back from a two day trip up to Larrys house for a short visit, and like we always do we make a trip up north to check out the lakes and this time of the year the trees are change. Did see this golden Eagle on the   way up.
 The last time I was up the lake was froze over,

 The Tamerack trees are a like a fir tree that loss its needles every year. When you see them it looks like you have some trees that are dying.
 It did start snowing.

Cats, Reservoirs, Dams and Mountains. I have pictures of a short day trip Rick took us on up to see some of the lakes and mountains up around the area where he lives, had a good trip it would be nice to have had a boat to do some fishing. Rick had like 5 kittens at the house and I think they got most of the attention then anyone , had a good time with them and I wanted to bring one home with me and if Kari had her way we would have had one. There was more then just gray cats but I liked them the most. They rented out boats cabins at the lake, it would make a nice vacation  It was almost to much for Rick to walk up from the parking lot he had to take a rest stop. This was a cool dam, the water was low on the back side we were hopping to see the water flowing over that middle area, Netty and found it interesting that they built this dam here that has no way to generate power.

La Center Wetlands

Because we have had so much rain and snow this year we have a new lake in LaCenter ( Lake LaCenter ), the sun was out today and 55 degress, I had to go down to see it.  I walk on this bridge each week when I walk the trail on the LaCenter bottoms.

Day off trip to the Oregon coast with Netty.

For some reason when we got to the beach the tide was way in and the waves were as big as I have ever seen. It was cold and the beach was covered with frost. But the sun was out and we had very little wind.    This was two close but I had to stand and get the picture. It looks like an explosion.   This was taken in Depot Bay
