Needed to get out of the house

I was setting around the house and had nothing better to do so I went over to Lewisville Park to take a hike around the park on the trail system,it did rain some but I did get some pictures of the river,its a lot bigger because of all the rain.

A visit from Erika and Cohen

Its always a good time to have Erika come home. We don't get to see Erika and Cohen but maybe once or twice a year and I wish it could be more, but we take what we can get. And this time it was a good time but we had so meany things planed the time went by fast and we weren't home that much, I think it was to much it would have been nice to just hang out with them. We spent the first three days in Long Beach with our trailer Kari Erika and Cohen set up a tent and made it Cohen first time sleeping out.   Erick had her camera and has better pictures then I do and more of them. They had the kite hooked to a chair and it got away so Kari had to bring it back. We had a good time Cohen, Kari is good with Cohen, and he had sand everywhere on him.

More pictures of our visit to my Brothers in Utah

Cats, Reservoirs, Dams and Mountains. I have pictures of a short day trip Rick took us on up to see some of the lakes and mountains up around the area where he lives, had a good trip it would be nice to have had a boat to do some fishing. Rick had like 5 kittens at the house and I think they got most of the attention then anyone , had a good time with them and I wanted to bring one home with me and if Kari had her way we would have had one. There was more then just gray cats but I liked them the most. They rented out boats cabins at the lake, it would make a nice vacation  It was almost to much for Rick to walk up from the parking lot he had to take a rest stop. This was a cool dam, the water was low on the back side we were hopping to see the water flowing over that middle area, Netty and found it interesting that they built this dam here that has no way to generate power.

Camping at Silver Lake & Trip to Mt St. Helens

We didn't do much at Silver Lake but had a good trip up to see Mt. St. Helens. The campground was nice at Silver Lake, we just kicked back did some bike riding and went out in the kayaks and set around the camp fire, but the best part of the trip was going up to see the Mt St. Helen's Volcano. We have been here all these years and haven't ever gone up to see what had happened some 37 years ago.   The wild flowers were all over Nettys first time out, I was thinking she would fall in and I could get a pic but she didn't
