Trip with our Trailer to Long Beach

Netty and I removed the cover from the trailer and made our first trip down to our beach property this year, we were hoping for less rain but it didn't work out that way.

We did hike out to the lighthouse on the one day it didn't rain.

 I like to look around the old fort that is setting up looking over the mouth of the river.







 Netty started up the hill with her coat on, but she did have it off at the top.

 Netty wanted me to take this picture of this Eagle, when we walked up closer he flew off.

For some reason when we got to the beach the tide was way in and the waves were as big as I have ever seen. It was cold and the beach was covered with frost. La Center Wetlands

Because we have had so much rain and snow this year we have a new lake in LaCenter ( Lake LaCenter ), the sun was out today and 55 degress, I had to go down to see it.  I walk on this bridge each week when I walk the trail on the LaCenter bottoms.

More pictures of our visit to my Brothers in Utah

Cats, Reservoirs, Dams and Mountains. I have pictures of a short day trip Rick took us on up to see some of the lakes and mountains up around the area where he lives, had a good trip it would be nice to have had a boat to do some fishing. Rick had like 5 kittens at the house and I think they got most of the attention then anyone , had a good time with them and I wanted to bring one home with me and if Kari had her way we would have had one. There was more then just gray cats but I liked them the most. They rented out boats cabins at the lake, it would make a nice vacation  It was almost to much for Rick to walk up from the parking lot he had to take a rest stop. This was a cool dam, the water was low on the back side we were hopping to see the water flowing over that middle area, Netty and found it interesting that they built this dam here that has no way to generate power.
